Formerly Kindergarten Kings, The New Yorks are a young indie band that are quite the regularly giggers around every corner of Adelaide. We think these guys are quite overlooked, and have a lot more to offer than smitten indie-pop tracks and boyish charm. This weekend they are teaming up with Groove Jupiter and Friday's Fox for a show at the Crown & Sceptre.

NO BIRDS EP LAUNCH
No Birds & Thee Dub Division will be playing a live show this weekend to launch their EP As One, released through Pilot Records.
Resident Soundpound DJ Gunda G, a live set from Odessa plus DJ sets from Pilot Records and Rocksteady #1 are all on the bill too. More beats than you can poke a stick at.

DOWN ON THE PLAINS
A great new initiative by local musician Naomi Keyte is new modern-folk night Down on the Plains. Teaming with the Wheatsheaf Hotel, Keyte is bringing together both interstate and local folk acts to showcase the best of Austrlia's neo-folk right here in Adelaide.
This edition features Laura Jean, Aldous Harding and a opening set from Naomi Keyte.
