I'm going to go out on a limb here and say none of us here at Yewth are ‘rev heads’. I mean I love my car and all but I'm not a ‘sit at home all weekend and watch Bathurst’ kinda guy. However, this doesn't mean that we are not all about the 2017 Clipsal 500. As you most likely know Adelaide puts on an absolute belter of a weekend of music through Clipsal 500’s famous nightly concerts. Next year will be no exception with Music SA and the Clipsal 500 joining forces for an unlikely collaboration.

With performances from Adelaide’s own Hilltop Hoods, The Funkoars, Seth Sentry and Aaradhna on Friday night and gurus Hunters and Collectors and Baby Animals on Saturday night, the weekend is set to be standout in Mad March. This is where the Yewth team get really excited though.

Music SA and Clipsal 500 have proudly announced the return of the ‘Bands On Track’ initiative, which gives up-and-coming Adelaide bands and musicians the chance to play along side the headline acts on Friday the 3rd and Saturday the 4th of March.

The 2017 ‘Bands On Track’ Competition is already open and looking for the best emerging artists SA has to offer for what is sure to be two fuelled-up nights of entertainment. Don't idle too long though, the competition closes on the 25th of November with the winners announced on 21st of January next year.
