Thrills, spills and tough as nails women throwing hits and skating circles around each other - roller derby is not for the faint of heart. This Saturday, Adelaide Roller Derby hosts its grand final double header at the Adelaide Showgrounds.
In the opening bout, the Wild Hearses and Road Train Rollers will fight it out for third place in the league's tenth year. Arch nemesis, The Salty Dolls and The Mile Die Club will skate to settle the score once and for all in a re-match of last year's grand final. With only one winner, this bout promises to be intense.
Off-track entertainment features live music from Lucifer's Lounge, the sparkling wit of your Little Commie Bastards and a bout village full of local creators.
Doors open at 4pm for a 4:45pm start. Get in early to secure your spot, trackside or cop a pre-sale ticket for express access to the venue and the best seats, guaranteed to be closest to the action.
