Sydney four-piece Bootleg Rascal were in town a few weeks ago to promote their debut album Asleep In The Machine. Dabbling in dub, reggae, roots and hip-hop, it’s hard to categorise the band under one genre. The title track is honey to my ear holes, oozing catchy harmonies and sucking you in for multiple listens.
However, this isn’t a one track pony with the thumping baseline and reggae groove of ‘Oh I Know’ and the trap style swagger of ‘Head In The Clouds’ - we can’t get enough.
