Hailing originally from the Eyre Peninsula, roots/rock boys, Chiara La Woo, have come a long way in the few short years since their inception. From playing house shows, to sharing the stage with the likes of North East Party House, Alex Lahey, and The John Steel Singers, the four-piece are set to release their debut EP, 'Buttagutcha' in just a few short weeks.
Their second single, 'Pick One' dials it back a little bit on their high-energy brand of reggae/funk/psych rock fusion roots, with a dreamy, emotionally charged track. It was a late addition to the EP, written only in a couple of days during recording - you wouldn't know though, with the thoughtful, angst-filled vocals, frantic drums, and soaring guitars making for mature, well-considered sound and lyricism. The boys capture the indecision, emotion and difficulty of having to choose between two things you love. In saying this though, the boys haven't lost their jangly, psych-rock charm.
