Julian Burnside AO QC is a barrister, human rights advocate, author and patron of the arts. In 2004 he was elected as a Living National Treasure, and has acted in some of Australia’s highest profile legal cases. If you've heard of Julian before, you'll know he isn't afraid to speak against Australia's terrible immigration policies and continues to be a strong advocate for refugees. In our second Festival Features episode we chat with Julian about the inhumane treatment of refugees, climate change, justice and his passion for the arts.
Julian will be speaking at WOMADelaide's Planet Talks this Sunday on the Climate Justice & the Human Face of Climate Change panel. You can purchase tickets and find out more about the Planet Talks here and learn more about Julian here.
